Certificate Office Administration-CWRG

Program Description


The Office Administration Certificate program prepares graduates for positions working in professional offices. Students will have an understanding of office technology, customer service administrative practices, accounting, communications, and ethics. They will be able to be employed by commercial and industrial establishments, government departments, or consulting businesses.


Program Eligibility


•BC secondary school graduation or equivalent, or Mature Student Status 19 years of age

• Be able to study Online/Blended Learning for Theory Parts Only: In order to complete the theory portion of the program, students must have the following:

• Laptop.

• Internet connection (Ethernet/WiFi)

• Microphone, headset & webcam


Eligibility Criteria

• Participants must reside in BC and be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected

persons

• Participants must have a Social Insurance Number (SIN) and:

• Unemployed, employed (part-time, seasonal, or casual), or precariously employed and Seeking training to find a new job

• Participants currently receiving regular Employment Insurance (EI) benefits, and those on Income Assistance (IA), are eligible to Participate in a CWRG-funded training project
