The Hotel Operations program provides 23 weeks of hotel services training, including occupational skills training plus 4 weeks of practicum and employment support. Funded by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training under Community Workforce Recovery Grant (CWRG) the course is provided by Western Community College (WCC).
•Unemployed, part-time employed (Less than 30 hours/week), or precariously employed
•High school graduate or equivalent or Mature Student
•Resident of BC, Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected person with authorization to work
•Proof of English Language Proficiency

Course Content
Participants will receive 16 weeks of theory & practical training delivered by experienced/qualified instructors to prepare them to gain foundational skills as Hotel Front Desk Clerks, Housekeeping Attendants, and Food and Beverage Servers.
