Program Description

A 28 week fully funded program conducted by Western Community College, that prepares you to be able to work safely and productively, within any pharmacy environment. This program starts on 7th September 2021. Successful completion of this course can help you earn $27 per hour. Candidates can receive the following certifications:

•WHMIS

•Personal Protective Equipment

•Pandamic Awareness

•Emergency First Aid

•Medication Management & GBA+

•Privacy Training

Eligibility

• Unemployed or precariously employed (Casual, Seasonal, Part-time)

• Resident of BC

• Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected person with authorization to work

• Grade 10 (including English 10 and Math 10) Or

• Mature Student (19+) and successful completion of English Language & Math Proficiency Assessment Test.
